Hello all!
- I'd really like to hear your thoughts and feelings regarding the new 1/week publication schedule? Love it? Hate it?
- I've finished with my Marvel Universe 2011 sketchcards for Rittenhouse. It sure was a fun project and I hope to be able to share some of the artwork with you sooner than later.
For now, I'd like to leave you with this piece of artwork (at right) in its pre-Photoshopped state. Hope you like it.

I REALLY don’t think he should go into that cave. But I really think he’s gonna! Love him in panel 3.
Dude, you know that more is always better. 1/week is better than nothing though – do what you can do.
Caves are creepy and cool. He better have a flashlight.
I love all of these dark and ominous rocks and also the posture of CM in panel five is great!
I think that the artwork has been more detailed since you went with one a week, but maybe this current story arc calls for that? Anyways, you’re still consistent and that’s always a good thing!
Love panels 2, 4,5 & 6 plus the shading in the cave in panel 6. Plus the whole mood and look of this story rocks.
Love the artwork. Is that the shadow of a smile on him or just an effect of the ink?
Denver, I debate with myself all the time whether putting all of your effort into a weekly comic is better than breaking it up into multiple ‘daily’ chunks. While I’m still not quite sure, I have to say, from an artistic standpoint, the larger ‘Sunday’ format is very rewarding for both artists who like having space and readers who love to have more art to admire. From a writing standpoint, it looks like you’re pursuing larger stories instead of ‘gag-a-day’ ideas, so it’s also a benefit to using the bigger format. That’s just my opinion.
I’m sure either way your comic will be entertaining, so don’t fret it.
Did no one notice the figure in panel 5. Denver your work is great. Of course we want more. Where are the Norb coffe mugs, Norb T-shirts, Norb glow in the dark underpants??????
Love the latest comic, and love the new pre-Photoshopped art, Denver! Congrats on completing your first Rittenhouse gig, too! Your work turned out great on that set!
Norb, I missed that! Holy cow, sneaky Denver!
Beautiful looking page today, Denver! That last panel is just gorgeous.
“Did no one notice the figure in panel 5?”
