"And if I pass this way again, you can rest assured
I’ll always do my best for her, on that I give my word
In a world of steel-eyed death, and men who are fighting to be warm
“Come in,” she said, “I’ll give you shelter from the storm”
-Bob Dylan
This week's comic features yet another footnote that refers back to TOACM #106 “Pretty Please” from back on 4/7/2011. Funny how a strip that seemed so inconsequential can turn around and take on a whole new meaning some time later.
Stay tuned friends, there is a lot more to come as we dive into Changing of the Guard and find out exactly what has happened since our patterned protagonist returned from the Isle of Terror!
Cheers!

Stick that cork where the sun don’t shine!

I’m just being silly–it’s not supposed to make sense.
Whew! You had me worried for a moment! LOL! =o)
Awesome, I like how you’re setting up this story, Denver! And you handled the framing of all those characters really well–good use of the graytones!
“What the Hal Linden”… love that!
Thanks Jerry! It’s kind of caught on as a go to “curse” word in the strip. Makes my chuckle every time I use it.
All the panels are great; especially the first and last. Amazing work as usual.
